Where can I buy a slim lith-ion battery for the scp-5000/5150?

Basically, I'm looking for stlye here

I used to have an SCP-5000, but now I have the 5150. The battery life is SIGNIFICANTLY better with the 5150, but I miss that slim/sexy look of the 5000's standard lithium battery.

Could someone post a link/links to on-line sellers that would sell just the standard (slim) lithium ion battery that comes with the SCP-5000. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

I once got a battery off Ebay that was aftermarket for $20

it was aftermarket it worked fine

but gotpcs.com seems like they are offering an authentic one and those are always the best

I ordered the Slim authentic battery from www.gotpcs.com, and it is a different shade of silver than the 5150 is. It just looks kind of weird, that's all, but works well.

Can you post pictures of your phone with the slim battery? I want to get one, but the different shade of color prevented me from doing so. Just wanna see if it looks alright. Thanks.

I think the different color is because they are selling you the battery for the 5000 which even though works fine with the 5150 it has that purplish hue that the 5000 has instead of the silver of the 5150.

It is indeed a battery for a 5000, my girlfriend has the 5K and I have the 5150 and the battery works just fine on mine and vice versa. I checked to see if it was possible to get a silver (not purplish/silver) because I am at times anal and Sanyo sells that battery with "5000/5150 slim battery" on the packaging. I guess Sanyo figured that no one would notice. Anyhow, you were sent what you was supposed to be sent without error.
