X1 volume very low for incoming messages...help!!

Is there any way to make the volume louder for incoming text messages and speaker phone volume?

This one is too easy - the volume control on the upper right side of the phone.

volume control is on max. but still very low

for your incoming text messages, you can go into Settings - Sounds & Notifications, then change the "tune", some are much lounder than others ---- regarding volume for speaker phone, you have me stumped.
