Hello,
A newbie here, hope I am allowed to post a new thread. I hope I did not break any rules or annoy anyone.
I am a long standing Verizon customer with a question. I have tried several sites and researched the net for the answer, obviously still lost.
I just got the Samsung Alias2 and purchased the VPak for $15.... last month.
I just went onto the Verizon site to manage my plan features, to remove the insurance and warranty features. I noticed that I could not accomplish this on line, so I went to my cell and got on Verizon through Mobile Web... When my add/remove features option page came up, I noticed that Vpak was not checked, so I checked it and clicked continue, the next page said:
"Selecting V Cast Vpak SELF PROV NW $15 conflicts with V Cast Vpak for MB $15"
Does anyone know the difference, I mean there has to be, if there is a conflict, right?
Needless to say, they wouldn't allow me to remove the warranty and insurance either.

I think they are simply called differently when you get it yourself from mobile web on the phone vs. when you get it from your account online or through customer care or something like that, but in the end they are the same thing. It's similar to mobile web itself which you can sign up for from the phone itself or online or through customer care--the features carry a slightly different name (self provision vs. something else), but they are basically the same.
