Hi guys,

I've used my default nokia 8390 phone for almost a year now, and all in all, it's a great phone. It's small, light, the battery lasts almost a week without charging etc. but there's only one problem... it's freakin' UGLY! I mean.. semi-transparent dark blue over white... what were they thinking?

anyways, i've been looking for a single color scheme cover for the 8390's for some time, but all the ones i've looked at didn't look that pretty.

so now, i'm thinking about getting a conversion. I've seen the 8390 -> 8910 case several posts down, and it looks pretty decent, but i don't like the way the slide down portion sticks out like that.

I'm wondering if there's a 8390 -> 8860/8890 conversion, as, to date, the 8890 has got to be the sexiest phone i've ever seen :-) I've used the 8890's extensively while i was visiting hong kong (it seems like every other person has one of those there) and i really like it's design/feel.

I'm not looking for anything extrodinary, just a simple cover / conversion, the slide down auto answer or the slide up keylock doesn't even have to work.

anyone know if such a conversion exists?

don't forget, there's also 8390 --> 6500 conversion.

Or if you're looking for a solid color scheme for your 8390, you can always go with the OEM white faceplate and keypad. Look on ebay for seller "lovemoments"
