Okay... so I am brand new to VoIP - I signed up with ViaTalk for their $199.00/year + 1 year free promotion.

I had two landlines with at&t - now I just have one with at&t and one with ViaTalk.

I hope I like it. Anything I should know. Tips/Tricks/Avoidances/etc...

ViaTalk is really good. I used it for a while for the US phone number. Very good technical support and the web interface is really awesome. I am sure you will like it. Back then they used to have only G711 code support which needs good bandwidth internet connection. I am not sure if they support the G729 codec now which can work with low bandwith.
