Can anyone tell me why this occurs?

If I delete names and numbers from contacts the size of the contacts file under storage manager goes up in size not down???? Only by 3-5kb but still this seems strange to me. Surely, you delete contacts to make room not use more up.

Can anyone else verify this happens or if it does why it does it.

I'm sorry this may be of no help, particularly because I don't have the phone yet and I don't know much about it, but this exact thing happened on my old Rex6000 PDA. I deleted half my contacts, several programs, etc. The memory just went up.

All it took on that device was a sync to the PC and it was fine again. Don't know what it takes on the P800.
