I currently have an EnV and am considering updating to the EnV3. Will Web2.0 be exactly the same or will it improve with the updating of the phone? Web 2.0 does not seem to have changed at all in the last several years.

The enV3 has the Obigo HTML-browser. You will see full-html pages of the websites you visit. It's a much better experience.

Also, the phone requires a Nationwide plan which bills data at $1.99/MB. Browsing HTML sites will eat up a lot more data than if you were using the Mobile Web WAP 2.0.

Thanks. So there's no way I can keep my current plan of web 2.0 with the the env3?

Mobile Web 2.0 $5 is a feature on your line, not a plan. When you activate this phone you will be required to upgrade to a Nationwide plan (from your America's Choice) which includes Mobile Web at no additional charge, but bills any data usage (such as browsing) at $1.99/MB.

If you use the enV3's browser, I really recommend the VCast Vpak $15 to cover all data usage on your line or upgrade to a Connect or Premium plan.

Thanks again for the info!

I was a little bit confused about the mobile plan. I noticed when you go through the options to purchase a new plan, you can select "Mobile Web 2.0" for $5, and then also you can select the 1.99 MB usage. What exactly do you get if you choose the $5 Mobile Web, if it is supposed to be free and they just charge per MB?

On Nationwide plans you shouldn't be able to select Mobile Web 2.0 for $5/month, and if it shows up for some reason, it's just some sort of a mix-up on VZW's part.
