Alltel Moto Q9C Update before flashing to Cricket?

I have an Alltel Moto Q9C that I want to flash to Cricket. I was wondering if I should try to use the Verizon WM 6.1 update before flashing? I'm not going to need the Alltel settings anymore anyway.

Also, does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Verizon WM 6.1 update for this phone? I tried using the Motorola update site but it says my phone doesn't have an update available so I figure I'm going to need some other way to get and install the file.

Verizon flash will work best, yes. You will need to flash the monster, not the update. The latest available VZ Q9c monster is over at http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/s...8&postcount=167
