My mom wants me to download a custom ring tone for her phone. I already have the MP3 file, and BitPim (I used this for my old phone). I bought a cable on eBay for $2.20. But stupid me, I forgot to buy a cable that came with a driver included. There's no driver for the cable for her phone, so the computer doesn't recognize it.

I've had plenty of headaches trying to find drivers, and now I need to find another one. I found this page:

It says it has a driver for her phone, but it didn't work when I installed it.

Or perhaps the ones from http://www.vzam.net/vcastmusic/Step...anufacturerID=1, in case there might be some differences that could be of importance.

also, are you sure the cable is a data cable and not just a charging cable?
