Account options change without notice?

Hi Community,

Can I bounce something off of you all? Let me know if this has happened to you and how you handled it.

About a month ago I purchased a Samsung Ace and called into CS to have a data plan added. All went well.

Yesterday, I received a "Ebill" from bell - now the problem is I never signed up to receive ebills. In fact, part of my corp plan (NAG) specifically states I will receive paper invoices with detailed billing. I've been receiving them for the last 1 1/2 yrs - and all of a sudden it changes.

I called into CS yesterday and they confirmed, I am not supposed to receive ebills. He suggested I wait until Friday to see if the paper bill shows up.

I'm fine with waiting until Friday, but my concern is what else has changed without my knowledge? I dont want to sound like I'm jumping the gun - but I like receiving detailed billing so i can see what I am paying for and confirm it.

Has this happened to anyone before and if so, how did you rectify the issue?

Call them and request to be removed from eBilling?

I'm not sure why they suggested you "wait and see" as they can easily see on your account if it's set up for paper invoices, eBilling, or both.

Suggest you call back and speak to someone else.

Also in the meantime, you can view your full details through the online billing that they have you set up on.

Thanks for the responses.

I tried calling back today - but office was closed, I'll call back tomorrow.

I also tried looking my bills up online - for some reason they all are $0, weird.

i have to say because they keep removing my feature even after the saleperson say my original term will not changed (as long as I work there as I am under a corp. plan). I am going to go with another provider after my contract is up.
So the answer is yes, they change or remove any promotion or other features you have now... something even without notice.

Well...I have a year and a half left on my contract. The good thing is that part of the terms of my existing contract is the ECF if capped at $100 bucks so I could cancel tomorrow and not be hit with a huge bill.

either way, I will see what transpires over the next couple of days - it will take a bit more (just a bit) for me to up and leave. especially with what is to come in the future with new providers.

My guess as he indicates it was a corp is they transfered him to wrong dept
Many other depts (myself included) are locked out from viewing this (which is just odd imo but anyhow)

You don't have access to the section with the "Hold bill" checkbox ?

just to close the loop on this - I finally received my paper bill in the mail. Hopefully they keep on getting them and dont have to go through this every month.

I still did not get an answer from CS as to why the change to my options occured without me requesting it or even my knowledge of it - but I guess there is no need to focus on that.

Thank you for all the responses.

i am wondering if you were signed up for ebilling so you wouldn't be charged for a paper invoice (although, perhaps there is no fee for corporate plan bills).
