Uploading data to a C56

Is there ANYTHING that can be loaded onto a C56 with a data cable? So far I have had very little luck finding any information on this. From what I have found it is not "supported" by Siemens but is there a work around for ringtones, images, Java games...... anything at all????
How about USB and serial cables, if I have both ports available is there any benefit of one over the other? In fact do they even serve a practical purpose if I don't want to use them for GPRS. (dammed AT&T rates are robbery)
Sorry if I missed the answer to these questions but nothing I have read has really given me a good answer.

I have VisSie, but it won't upload any ringtones...only graphics
