Not enough chords to be too good, IMO, but somebody might like it.

My files can only be hosted for 24 hrs so if ur trying to get something PM me if the file doesn't exist... or just reply in this thread I guess, doesn't matter. OR point me to a direction I can upload to where it'll stay put for awhile.

For using ringtones up to 500kb or more u have tu flash your handy with an patched firmware, otherwise the handy dosen' play the sounds!
500 kb patch is for example in my new blade mod or lords of the rings mod for samsung e700!

i need to know 2 things...

1) i have just bought a samsung phone for the first time. I have been using Nokia previously. Is there any way to upload Java apps in samsung phones thru IrDa or data cable...i know u can download them thru WAP is there any way to get it thru the mentioned devices??

2) i would appreciate if someone could upload normal ringtones with vibration. I suppose everybody knows what i mean by normal ringers

u know...just plain and simple tones like the Motorola V60 used to have...

here are some MMF ringtones i made myself!!! they kinda suck but they are ok if u pick up your phone in 10 seconds cuz i have a E715 and it only allows the MMF to be 40KB Max.

To all those like me, hopelessly overwhelmed by the sheer number of posts here, here's another way to search this thread:

Search google with the following terms:
"da club .zip 156903 site::www.howardforums.com"

Simply replace "da club" with what you are looking for and hopefully something will come up. Similarly, you can search any other mega-sized thread by replacing the "156903" with the appropriate threadID found in the url.

I just couldn't stand waiting the 20 seconds between forum searches. And in any case, this would alleviate some load from Howard's servers. If anyone has any better ideas on how to do this, please let me know.

PS. Here's a shortened version of The Little Mermaid - Under the Sea. The original file (posted earlier) was way too long for an actual ringtone. Enjoy!

If you have an interest in computers and phones enough to join a community dedicated to phones then i`d say everyone here has a little bit of geeky-ness in them.

Hi, below is a zip file for all the ringtones and wallpapers i have found over the past year and were worth saving.
wallpapers are 128x128 size.

Inside of it there is about 2000 crappy midi ringtones but the 500+ others are quality voice and non voice ringtones!

It is 20mb so you will find something you will like! Hope this helps this thread out as it has for me!

Ive been downloading ringtones here and there and have been trying them out on my D415 and they sound like crap! Why is that? Ive also made some myself but those sound like crap too? Im talkin bout the rintones with voice. I dont get it? On my LG vx8k its so easy and sound quality is great. But these are muffled and really really quiet and i can barely hear it.

ok just want to clarify,
What are the steps to make these mmf files? in other words once you have an Mp3 clip like 15sec or so, what do you do to get it to mmf? i tried going from mp3 to midi but the midi sounded nothing like the mp3. any help would be appreciated, thanks

Anyone know what program to use to listen to the ringtones w/o downloading them to ur phone first? Also are you guys uploading these via wap sites, or downloading them straght to ur phone for free with a data cable?

Have a samsung p777 with data cable and file manager, do i need easy grps to upload ringtones, cuz last time i tried it it didnt work!

ok, i figured out how to make ringtones and fast too, its super easy, thanks for the link to the tutorial, but the only problem is they still dont come out that loud , even when i turn the amplify option up to triple (300%) or even (400%). I know for a fact they can be louder on the phone and still sound good because i downloaded a couple free ones from wap.audio3g.com and they are really loud and not to distorted, so how can i do this when making my own(i listen to alot of independent underground hiphop and gotta make my own cuz they're not offered any where), like i said, in wave pad i amplified to the max but they still werent as loud as the 3g ones, i have sound forge 6 but its supercomplicated and i havent figured it out yet, can anybody help? aslo ive tryed psm player. any suggestions or know how is much appreciated.

Tried to upload many of the ringtones from here to my acount in tripod and from there to my e630, but non of them worked, i get every time the same massage, that says - no support for this kind of file. In the other hand, same mmf files when downloading them from wap sites are working great. Now, theer is no prob with dwonlosding from tripod, did it many times with jpg files etc. but i have real problem with mmf only. weird..

I just wanted 2 knw if any1 has the specification of Smaf file format.
Also is there a provision 4 multiple tracks in MA 3 Events Type file format.
I hav seen multi tracks in SMAF MA 2 but havnt seen it as yet on MA 3.
