Its not 40 poly, but its in .mid and .mmf for you

It's the ONLY one I had.

you can only delete that ones that u put into the phone yourself. i;e the ones in your download--->sounds folder. you CANNOT delete the ones that come with the phone. I wish you could though. But i've read somewhere that they are part of the firmware.

i found out how:
To delete downloaded ringtones or wallpaper or pics, press menu (Menu, Funbox, Downloads). Select 'Sounds' or 'Pictures', play the ringtone or view the pic you wish to delete. Go to 'Options' and delete from there.

what is the best way to get these ringtones onto your phone?? I tried with coolservices.dk but it doesn't work with my s300m. I uplaoded it to s105.com and it works perfectly, is there a better way to download them ?

I'm using EasyGPRS, which came with my SGH-V200. I don't know if it works for other cellphones as well. You might try to download it from the Samsung site.

With EasyGPRS it's easy to send the polyphonic ringtones (and images) to your phone. (You need a datacable for it)

you can use PSMPlayer. Download it from this site: http://www.samsunghandphones.com/midi%20to%20mmf.htm

I use the 3.80 version. Version 4.50e does not suppert the Vibration and the Led's. Strange, because the site tells you that this version supports that.

Does anyone know how to make the ringtones smaller in size but without effecting the length of the ringtone ?

I've bene using PSMPlay4.5 to load in midi's and convert them to 40 channel tones with vib and led but the midi files are 45k etc. Have limited them to size of 20k but ideally would like to have the full tune.

In your psm player if it is v3.80 go to help and then register type in "186" and click ok. you will be able to add light or vibra or both when you create the song. i think the newer psm players do not need the code.

psmplayer

Do a search for it, you'll get the most recent download links, reg codes, etc. Its really straight forward- just load a midi and save as .mmf basically.

Does anyone know how to successfully convert mp3/wav->.mmf? I have this mp3 of the Songebob Squarepants theme, but I can't seem to convert it properly. I've tried 2 ways. First, I converted the mp3 to wav and when I tried to convert the wav to SMAF 40 cord mmf, it says "Wav not convertible for this format" (something along those lines). I then converted the wav using the Yamaha program, that DID work, but it sounds really ugly. Can anyone help me out? I would like to know how or IF there is even a way to convert mp3s or wavs to .mmf without drastically distorting it. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Use Winamp and Yamaha SMAF tools. Both are free and easy to use. I made some "dead ringer" .mmf's, look in THIS THREAD

I only made the first ones short because a ringer usually doesn't last longer than 30 seconds, so anything after that would just take up memory. But I included the full versions for you. . If you need anything else just ask.
