This was the only one I had, I modified the "cut" version, trimmed out the beginning a little and added vibe + led... both in .mmf format. Hope you like it (them).

several thousands of files - some are pretty old and the site is russian but still the name of the songs are in english

this site isnt bad..its got a load of songs...except all these songs start at the beginning of the original song...
the better ones start at the chorus...thats what i think...

btw...are these 40 or 16 polyphonics??

It does work, you need to unzip the file on your pc, then download to phone. I just tried it, and it works....

Or im guessing if you are emailing it to your phone as a file, it still needs to be unzipped, not sure how you are trying to download it to phone.

The LED feature means that the external service led flashes or "dances" at the rithm of the music. When you set it using software to create the MMF file, you can choose one MIDI channel. LEDs will be "linked" to that channel, flashing at the rithm of the selected MIDI channel.

About soft, I recommend you Mobile Music Polyphonic and PSMPlay, the 1st requieres license (but you can find cracks over the net) and the 2nd it's free.

i think the LED is a cool feature! and the e710 support this!!!

@software: yeah,i already tried MMP + PSM!
but according to the instruction on the hp,you can only create 16-chord polys!
somehow i always get the whole song (singing + melody) in the mmf!
you can first convert the mp3 to midi and then to mmf wit MMP,but if i want to convert it with the inbuild converter of MMP,there is an error!

do you have MMP and could you send it to me?

There is an option in there to add remove vibrate, when you save the tone you have, you can change it then, im new to this, but thats how i did it lol.

As you can see these are stardard ringtones, they come on my S308 but I was wondering if anyone was able to add VIBE to them? I tried editing the file but, it said it was locked as suspected.

just follow this steps dinogucci:

Start PSM Player 3.80e. At the top menu bar, click 'Help' then click 'About'. enter key in '186'. Now when you 'Create SMAF 16 or 40 chord', there will be options to enable Vibrate and LED coupling. (posted by brendanlim)

From midi to mmf just play the midi song in your pms player go to File---- create smaf---smaf 40 chords
and save it

How do you know which channel is which in a midi? Can I put vibration and light other than the first channel?

My e105 crashed with a ringer maybe because i changed the yamaha fm16 to fm32 or I put vibration and light on all the channels checked on psmplayer. Is DR in psmplayer channel 10?

Anyone know the exact reason why it crashed given the info above? Thanks.

Could anyone make the 40 Poly version of 2Pac's " Ambitionz Of A Rydah" with vib and lights.. or maybe any NAS or Biggie? I tried converting an MP3 with MMP but since its the evaluation it only lets me save a few seconds... if anyone has an idea of how I can do it myself, let me know. Thanks!

Yeah, I think you can only select one channel. I think you can select vibe and LED on the same channel.

Well, I made my ringtones with VIBE and LED on the same channels. Some ringtones I had to play around with to see which channels were best for the ringtone. I don't really know how to read the channels, so it was trial and error for me.

I've been using PSMplayer for awhile now- 3.80e and now 5.0.... I notice that on all versions it only shows 16 "check boxes" as it plays the midi or .mmf file- does it even support 40 chords????
(assuming each one of those check boxes is a single chord?)

Inquiring minds what to know.

I have changed it to the size you want, not sure if your phone will take it all (V200 does) give me a shout, i can change it.

try euploader.com/wap on ur phone

and euploader.com on ur computer.... i would save this add in ur fav on ur phone so its a easy acess

I found this ringtone from the Yamaha site.. I like it! Thought I'd post it here so other people could have it as well.. Of course it could be I'm the only who likes this ring.

quick question: my phone (samsung e715) won't play mmf files but i found that if i just change the extension to .mid in windows explorer, and email them to my phone as an attachment, they work..should i not do this? am i losing quality by not actually converting them? thanx

personally i like the mmfs better and they seem to be easier to hear when getting a call but midis work just as well for me. i tried sending them before they way you mentioned and they worked fine no diminished quality.

(you have to use psmplayer if you want to change the file extensions of a midi to a mmf or vice versa. simply changing the file type wouldnt work(i dont think) because, well frankly i havent tried it) i will

tried it doesnt work use psmplayer look it up in the forums and you'll find it it works great to make your own ringtones you can make them with vibrate and led functions too.

I found two archives with polyphonic song ringers in mmf format..One has 300 songs (just over 1 meg in size) and the other has 2000 tones (just over 5 megs in size).

I'd love to share them but I don't have enough bandwidth on my hosting account. If anyone would be willing to host them for HoFo members, let me know!
