Hey everyone, forgive me for my ramant newbie-ness, but I haven't done a lot of ringtone stuff.

Will mmf ringtones work on the NEC models (525, 515)? I'm almost positive that they support SMAF ringtones, but I don't really know, and I haven't gotten a straight answer from anyone. Thanks in advance.

i know there are a lot of descriptions for that, but i do not have nerves to deal with it now...

you can't add vib to a converted wav file, because it's not being accepted as a mmf file, if u use psm for instance.
it just won't work.
you just can't ****in' add it.

Try doing a SEARCH. Questions like this have been asked (and answered) many, many, many times. You convert midi into mmfs with PSM player.

When you have downloaded them right click on them and take rename and add .zip to the name and then unzip it like all the other ones..

only one short tone with a short LED visualisation, but without vibration!! i need it for work - the vibra on desk is quite noisy...

Are you creating the ringtones you post? or getting them from a nokia site? Most of the ones you post are 4 chan polyphonic (four chord)??? Seems like they are the kind the nokia uses since it only has 4 chords???

A friend of mine sends me the midis and I remake them to MMF..
And adds vib and led to them..

Do you make you're own???

Then let me correct you Sir! YOU ARE MAKING THEM!

I didn't mean composing the midi file, I meant converting them to mmf- and you ARE doing that! GREAT JOB!!!

I've converted a bunch myself, but I try to look for the higher chord midi's myself- then sometimes I don't

Here's the best way to check- load the midi in PSMPLAYER, and click on the yellow ! at the far right of the button bar- it will tell you how many chords that midi (or mmf) is actually playing... I've been on the search for some true 40chord ones and they are HARD to find

I've converted a bunch myself, but I try to look for the higher chord midi's myself- then sometimes I don't

Here's the best way to check- load the midi in PSMPLAYER, and click on the yellow ! at the far right of the button bar- it will tell you how many chords that midi (or mmf) is actually playing... I've been on the search for some true 40chord ones and they are HARD to find
