Buying a cell battery online

For a Sprint cell phone - obviously there's the Sprint store, but I recall hose prices being *much* higher than online. Online stores almost seem too cheap though...?

I'd like to know myself. I've had such bad luck with getting counterfeit batteries on eBay that I just stopped buying batteries there and get them from the manufacturers' websites. If I could find a good source for aftermarket batteries I'd use them but all I've bought recently seem to be junk.

I got my Samsung Alias 2 extended battery here. No problems in fact, it was a Samsung battery.

To add to the above suggestion for anyone who stumbles upon this thread:

A more-than-average reliable poster at another forum (MVM from DSLreports.com) suggested www.wirelessground.com/

^ Their prices are more in line with what I would expect, and they claim/the photos show genuine batteries from the original manufacturer.

Niether that website nor the other one listed here has the OEM battery for my (or in this case, my mother's phone) however - LG LX160. Nor does Sprint, it seems. Go Sprint, people who bought the phone 6 months ago certainly don't deserve batteries.
