Now the question starts to beg for an answer in my head: will Sprint allow upgrades to old phones to support PTT?

How much will it cost, etc...

still staring at that "ReadyLink Not Available" screen on my 8100...

as much as I'd like them to retrofit (unlock) the feature, i'd bet it won't happen.

Sorry if this is a FAQ, but why is PTT such a desireable feature in a phone?

I am trying to decide if I should wait for the 7200 or not (I went to get a 4900 today, but sprint was out of them).
