I have vzw and im in a 1x service area and i was wanting to know if there is a was to prog. nam 2 w/ prl from us cell to be able to get 3g in my area

Yup. First switch to NAM2 and do the regular *228 programming with VZW. Then load up a PST for your phone and load a USCC PRL into NAM2. Done.

Well first off it's not MSID, it's MEID. To answer your question, you need an MEID or ESN to activate a phone on VZW. Currently you can only use VZW-branded or Alltel-branded handsets.
