I have a Docomo P-05A with Inex HyperSim

If i don't put in the sim card, the phone works with full functionality..

However, when I put the HyperSim in, it boots up to a blank screen with only 1 icon, a battery icon and nothing else

None of the buttons work and do anything . when i press a button it just makes a sound (numpad buttons makes a different sound)

HOWEVER, I am able to receive calls...... when someone calls me I have the option to pickup, ignore or answering machine..........

Any Ideas? Is this a tombile sim card problem? I dont have any other sim cards to play around with.....

Those numbers tell us nothing.. Think of it as a serial number... each SIm has a different number.

where are you located? because I think the P-05A is 3G only

if he's able to receive calls then that means its gsm and 3G...

I got some phones mixed up, it does have 3G+GSM

located in Seattle Washington

Yes, I can receive calls. but the phone has no menu just white screen . none of the buttons work...

UPDATE:

I have another sim card (A canadian Petro-Canada that uses the Rogers Network). They do not have any roaming agreements so I can not acquire signal here in Seattle. However, if I use that simcard w/ hypersim ... the phone boots, menu is available but goes into and endless reboot cycle after booting up for 5 secs....

PS. for my tmobile sim card, i did connect it to a tower 1st with an iphone (2G) [w/ hyper sim]
