Hi all...currently i have a tmo flex pay, because i like to change and try phones all the time and it gives me the freedom of no contract. I am curious if Verizon has a month to month plan with data?...I cant seem to find one.
Right now I am using the Mytouch, voice and data but month to month...Does Verizon offer such a plan?
thanks.

Sure, VZW has month-to-month plans where you can basically pick one that you want, like Basic (just minutes), Select (minutes and unlimited messaging), Connect (minutes, unlimited messaging, unlimited data, and Mobile Email application), or Premier (minutes, unlimited messaging, unlimited data, V CAST, Mobile Email application, and VZ Navigator application). For PDA/BB phones you can only be on Basic or Select plans and then simply add an appropriate data feature for the phone (generally $30/month).

Aside from that there are also some VZW pre-paid options, and even various other smaller providers that offer good pre-paid or monthly deals and use VZW's network, like Page Plus or Straight Talk.

Actually according to the website, when you look at plans and phones..you are offered the choice of month to month, one year, two year....if you choose month to month and then choose your phone you must pay full price for the phone..
If you just navigate from the home page and look at the options for month to month, I could not see one offered with data.

but yes, you can have month to month, you just pay full retail for the phone.

If you are going for a feature phone then you can get data included simply going with a Connect or a Premium plan. Other than that, data is generally a feature (which is different/separate from a plan) which you can add/remove at a later point in the sign-up/ordering process.

Or you can bring your own equipment (a phone you already have, got from a family member or a friend, bought somewhere, etc.).

That's basically the whole idea behind month-to-month: you either come with your equipment or pay full price for a phone (if you want to get a discounted phone then that comes with a contract to balance out the discount that you are given).

I think that it pretty much goes without saying that if you bring your own phone then it has to be a valid VZW phone (GSM phones, non-VZW phones in general, and/or phones that are perhaps blacklisted for some reason, like they've been reported as lost/stolen, would certainly not work).
