Ir problems with SendFile

Does anyone know why I get a failed connection error the second time I try to send messages to my phone? I have a T306 and I connect with USB IrDA. Im using Windows 98se.
When I first use SendFile when I send a file to my phone, its sucessful. Then when I want to send another file it says connection failed. This happens even when the program and phone monitor says its connected. This happens for both versions of SendFile.
Help!
