How do you update the software/firmware on the BB 8350i? Does it use the same updates as other BB's?

Also, is App World available for the 8350i model? If so, how do I get it? If not, how else can you get apps for the Nextel model?

all blackberries use a different software according to the model. what software do you have? the most current software available today is 4.6.1.204 or commonly known as "204" there are rumors floating around that there will be a new release very soon. possibly OS 5.0

you can load a software update over-the-air "OTA" or use your desktop manager software.
and finally, there should be an icon somewhere in your blackberry to access app world. if not, just go to the browser and google "app world"
this is all basic stuff. blackberry 101. i don't think you've tried very hard. consider yourself spoon fed.

I don't use a BB so this is why I don't know anything about it. I figured on a newer BB App World would already be loaded but apparently on the Nextel version all that is loaded is Sprint's Software Store which I know isn't it.
