....my Motorola Phone Tools still won't show any File Transfer / MMS, etc. options!

I am new at this, i followed the seem editing directions very carefully from the forums, the changes seemed to take in my phone, because i pull up the Seem # and all the boxes that i changed, remain changed.

I've checked repeatedly for updates on MPT & MSU, and drivers, etc. and they all say I'm up to date.

MPTs says my phone is a V3mM. I know VErizon crippled many features, but i thought the seem editing could fix.

Does anyone here speak "baby talk" in the "hacking" lingo?

I welcome and thank any and all input!!!!

I had the same problem, and after a google search came across this:

1) Open Motorola Phone Tools and make sure your phone is detected.
2)Then click General Setup > Communications Tab > Change Modem. Click Next.
3)On the device screen, select Motorola USB Driver. Click Next.
4)Check the box for "Do not automatically detect the driver." Click Next.
5)Select CDMA from the left column, then from the right column select V3MM. Click Next and Finish.

After the phone reconnects, the Multimedia icon (file transfers, mms, etc) should be visible on MPT. Hope this helps! It worked for me on my Verizon V3M.
