So EA's Command and Conquer Red Alert is out and I'm on a 3.1.2 JB'n 3GS. I purchased the game fine as I do with all the others through the App store and when I try to purchase the map pack for $0.99, I get a 'This is not a Test User account' error and it won't allow me to purchase it. Something about a 'Sandbox' issue... no clue.

Anyone have a clue what this is regarding? Found one other site where someone said it was in regards to the phone being JB'n but wouldn't explain any further...

have you done any other in app purchasing?

i remember there was an issue with Push a few months ago where it was found that part of the JB process is you strip the Apple SSL cert and replace it with the one of the person who made the JB. Since a lot of this depends on having the right SSL cert it won't work.

So basically at this point, there's no work around? Kinda figured that was the answer.

the reason that Apple allowed more in-app purchasing is that there are a few studies that show 90% piracy rate with some apps. there are 2 big websites where you can go to and download pirated apps.

itunes purchased apps are easy to strip the DRM from because Apple had to preserve compatibility with their ancient scheme from years ago when the itunes store first launched.

with in app purchasing most of the authentication happens on the dev's server and they can code much better protection into their apps on the server end. there are a lot of iphone devs at the macrumors.com forums in the app store forums. they will all tell you that it's simple to put telemetry into your app to tell if it's running on JB'd phones and if it's a pirated version

stage 5 for the good guys (blue guys) is impossible. Anyone have any good strategy to beat it?
either way I go the coils kill me and before I can get any sort of force they attack from all sides. I capture the radar station and then a minute later their engineer somehow made it past just under my base and got it for themselves.
I captured a hospital too but no idea what that does.
