The only reason why you might need a more expensive data feature is if you need it to access corporate email, that's more or less it. The less expensive data feature covers all data usage on the phone, doesn't really have any limitations, and works perfectly fine for most consumers.

All the data is covered. Now, in terms of applications, if there's a cost related to an application, that's separate and different, but in terms of running an application and using data (or accessing something through the browser, etc.) that's all covered by the data feature (either the cheaper or the more expensive one).

I currently have this unlimited blackberry plan (450) for 99.99 per month which I originally got because it allowed me to upgrade every year. Now I need to access corporate email on a BIS system. Will this 99.99 plan work or is there something I can add to my plan to access corporate email in addition to my personal email. Customer service didnt seem to know what they were talking about. Thank you

If you need corporate email access, you want BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) Not BIS which is what you currently have.

What you would want to do is switch out to the nationwide 450 select plan ~ $59.99 and add on BES ~ $44.99 total = $104.98 this would give you 450 ATM Unlimited M2M, Text + Email and Data over the BES server.

Since you have a bundled voice and data plan you should already have the more expensive BES data feature as part of it, so you should be all set whether you need BIS or BES (if you only need BIS you can simply drop down to a voice only plan and then add the cheaper $30/month BIS data feature).

Bundled voice and data plans for BB phones already include the more expensive BES data feature.
