I want a genuine faceplate for my 8390, particularly this rumored "white" xpress cover. I've looked around ebay and uk's ebay and found a few auctions that claim to have this white cover (even in original nokia packaging), but lots of feedback on these guys also say that they are fake.

anyone have experience with this?

Look on ebay for the seller, lovemoments. he/she sells the OEM white faceplate and the OEM keypad. They'll both cost you about $30 after shipping, and that's if you use buy it now. Takes a little over a week to get it, but its worth it. He/she is a great seller!

yea i saw her stuff. i thought i saw a post of someone who bought that and it fell apart on him. is it oem for sure? was it in nokia packaging?

It's not in Nokia packaging, mine came in an bubble-sheet lined envelope, protected by plenty of bubble wrap and styrofoam. I think it's to cut down on shipping costs, because they ship from HK, I think..... But I can assure you it is OEM. In the Asian market, these faceplates are standard.

Maybe he pressed too hard while cleaning his screen? I dunno, I swear by this faceplate....Aside from the colors, the faceplate looks exactly like the OEM blue faceplate that comes w/ the phone here, inside and out......But it's your money....

I also bought the white faceplate from lovemoments. The first one I got arrived was damaged (one of the clips was bent). He sent me out another one at no charge. I like the all white look - this is mine with my ipod.

EDIT: I like how neither Sirius or I have any signal on our 8390's

I didn't have signal in that picture because it was from my dorm room and I only get signal in the half of the room closest to the window

The only carriers that work there are T-Mobile and Verizon!
