iboot - (when referred to in this forum has been) iBoot-359.3.2 is the newest version number that can only produce a tethered jailbreak. I believe it contains (or at least grants access) to the 24k exploit that makes jailbreaking possible. Only obtainable through DFU mode. http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=5560 bootloader - 5.8 and below allows you to downgrade a baseband. how to find bootloader version see, the version numbers are completely different and if they were the same you could find your iboot via the same method but you cannot. That's how I've interpreted it and how I've found referred to online. |
