SCP-400 does support T9 Smart Text entry but it is NOT on my phone as I have the original Japanese made SCP-4000 with the old firmware 2.0026CN?

Can any SCP-4000 user confirm this?

The article talks about the 4000 and the 4500. While the 4000 does not support Tegic T9, the 4500 does. Sanyo models from 4500 up support T9...
