Anyone noticed that the SL55's IrDA connection is REALLY slow? I mean, REALLY slow! Man! Taking forever to do anything via IrDA! Can't wait for my cable to come in!

yep...especially takes forever to beam over photos from my pda
took me nearly a minute for a 60kb file!

And it takes almost 5 minutes to Sync my Addressbook via Siemens Data Suite! And I only have 77 numbers! Sheesh!

That's not an SL55 issue but an IR issue. IR works with a maximum of 115.200 bps only, so no wonder.

It's a SL55 (and S55) issue, not an IR issue.

If you compare IR speed on Nokia vs Siemens you will find that Nokia is much quicker. I think it's limited by the chip in the Siemens phones.
