Miniantenne - stylish. functional. fashion.

I tried one of these stubby's for my v60gi and found out the hard way that my antenna doesn't unscrew. Cost me $65 to fix.

I think the only v60i's that it works on is the TDMA and CDMA versions but certainly not the GSM version.

Why ?

It is easy to replace the antenna of the v60g phone.

You must screw out the small plastic circle below the antenna [thickness approx. 2mm]

My V60gi was made in Germany and I tried to unscrew the piece you are referring to just to find out that it doesn't unscrew. I ended up ripping the plastic piece apart. The bottom piece of plastic is attached to an entire piece that can only be accesed by taking apart the phone.

Yes, the replacement of the v60[i] antenna is critical but is possible without probs

Between the antenne and the plastic piece on the buttom of the antenna you can see an small plastic circle [~1mm] You must unscrew this circle only and you will be able to replace the antenna. No probs.

some v60's are impossible to unscrew the antenna cause they were not built to.

i was lucky enough to have gotten one that did and those antenna's works super for me

i'm picking another one up from daydeal.com hehe should arrive anytime this week

I beg to differ. It's the most classic and well built phone out there. They still sell well and are becoming hard to find.
