Verizon Motorola t720 status light....

Most of my friends have nextels and v60's and they always have their status light blinking, I was wandering why the verizon t720 status light is there when I never even saw it go on, not even when I do not have service in like an elevator or the subway...

I just dont know if mine is broken or if the status light never goes on...

I would ask a verizon rep but the store is too far away and the calls take forever...

by the way if there is a way to turn that light on please tell me and thanks...

open your manual, you just have to turn it on

settings -> initial setup - >status light -> ON

they disable it by default to save on battery.
I've also had it indicate I was roaming, even though I wasn't, because the roam indicator on the display wasn't on. I turned it off because I couldn't trust it.
