this is such a nice phone.. but i am sooo damn scared to get scratches on the screen.. i am just curious if the screen gets scratches easily? any case protection available yet?
on my old moto P7689 the screen scratched like **** within couple months, but on my older sanyo, scratches free after one year...

I've had mine for about three weeks now and no scratches. While I am very careful, I am not a fanatic. It's in my pocket most of the time.

Mine, too...I take mine out to use and then it goes right back into my front pocket...as long as you don't have anything in your pockets when you pop your phone inside, I think it'll be OK...

If your worried about your screen, why not go to CompUSA or something of the like and buy PDA screen protectors. Just cut it down to fit your phone.

you could just leave the plastic film on the lens that shipped with the phone. I did for a few days until I was reminded of how ugly it looked on such a nice phone!

I haven't had any scratches at all. It seems durable. Last week I was careless and put it my pocket with along with a keychain full of keys and some other stuff... when I got home and realized what I did I was worried but after inspecting the screen carfully i saw that nothing happened to it. *whew* I am not saying that it is scratch resistant but it seems like it doesn't scratch too easy. Just be careful and all should be fine.

Yeah, Im using one of those pda screen protectors, it seems to do the trick - in fact if you take your time to cut it down to size cleanly, and make sure you dont catch air bubbles underneath it when you put it on your phone, its really not noticable, its much more flexible than the piece of plastic covering the screen that it was shipped with and you have to really look close to realize it's there

My screen is loaded with scratches after only 4 days of use. they are not bad scratchs but if you tilt the phone and look just the right way you can see them. It really really piss's me off. I think that is the only flaw though. I hate to say it, but i think this is the best phone ive ever had (sorry P800 forum aka bengalboy)

there's a custom screen protector for the SL55... saw it at www.doml.com.sg have seen the quality before and it's really impressively clear! check it out at their website!
