I got the following questions 1) Does the A22 work on the GD88 ? not just on the GD87 2) Upon flashing my phone with the A22 firmware , will I get Chinese input and menu support for sure ? 3) Is there any way to fix my browser ? 4) What exactly do I need to flash the A22 ? I got WinMoDo, the GD87A22 flash file. Where can I download CB2000 ? |

To do this, your EEPROM needs to be unlocked. 3) If you have CB2K, then you can try doing "Function clear" - this will often fix browser problems (but also deletes all your user settings and WAP/MMS profiles) 4) It's posted in several places - try this link (it was OK this morning): http://www.aoqm06.dsl.pipex.com/CB2000_v1.35c.zip |

If I want to upgrade to A39, do I need to Flash it with A22 again? 3. Right now, I have Browser problem. It keep on saying "Reception Failed". Will flashing it with A39 Fix my problem? 4. Also, everytime I go to MMS Server List, the phone restart itself. I'm confused... I'm Sorry if I have some stupid question, coz I'm new at this flashing thing. Thank you in advance... ![]()

A39 won't fix the problem...I think you should check your T-zone settings again...try checking here 4. The answer is here Alohas! DoubleVision19 @ 19:44 Hawaiian time |

Originally posted by TriMesh It's possible that your setup data is corrupt - try using CB2000 to do a function clear/memory reset on the phone. This will delete all your user settings and WAP/MMS server settings and set them to defaults. This should let you get into the setup menu to enter the MMS server information. The other thing that can cause this is if the phone has been reflashed so that the main firmware and the translation data version on the language pack don't match, it may crash when trying to access some menu items. If you have only reflashed part of your phone (firmware only, or LP only) then this is worth checking. In particular, you originally had a translation data version of 00052 - and most of the A22 LPs that are on the net are for translation data 00094. This could cause this sort of problem. If you suspect that this might be the case, then reflash the phone with a matched pair of firmware and language and see if the problem goes away. |
