Problem with melodies on SL55

I recently bought myself a Siemens SL55 (after reading about that phone here). However, I seem to have some problems with the ringtones.

In the phone setup - Audio - Melodies menu, I selected another melody for the "Calls" item. However, whenever the phone rings, it still plays the default ringtone (intead of the one I selected).

Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

In addition, I also set another tone for "messages". While this plays when a sms arrives, the volume is very low (even although I selected the max volume for messages in the "volume" setup).
It seems that the melody is always played with increasing volume (and not the choosen volume directly)

Do you use Groups? When it uses another ringtone, are the number in your phone/addressbook?

An idea would be to assign athe same ringtone to "another calls" and see if that does it..

Indeed, just figured it out myself.
When assigning a melody to the "calls" section, it will only play that melody when the caller exists in your address book.
