Synching with Outlook deletes Voicetags?

Hi all,

I did this today and found that

- all speed-dial positions were emptied
- all voice-tags disappeared

What did I do wrong?

Can't tell you what you did wrong though I *can* say that I sync with Outlook daily and have never had this happen.

Purpose of this post: to suggest that it was most likely something other than a sync with Outlook that KO'd your phone.

Actually, I think it IS syncing with Outlook that is the problem. My voice tags kept disappearing, so at the suggestion of another user at esato.com I turned off sync for my contacts, re-recorded my voice tags, and they haven't disappeared in several days! One suggestion on Esato is that the sync software is doing a full sync for some reason and the outlook contacts are overwriting the P800 contacts, but I can't explain why this would be the case.
