Unknown error-ID 503 SL55 Email???

Has anyone set up the email server on their SL55? I have the AT&T GSM and tried to set up the email server on my Siemens SL55 - but everytime I try to send - I get:

Unknown
error-ID 503

Any ideas?

Mine works 100% now after some trouble...

I couldnt figure out how to use it via CSD connection. GPRS was available from my provider 4 days ago and its soo much easier to set it up via GPRS..

Even though SL55 has presented me to many error messages i have never seen error-ID 503

I have mine set up to GPRS.

I'm starting think that ATT just doesn't support this function....

I have mine set to use pop3/smtp and can receive with no problem. When I send though I get that same message. Haven't been able to figure it out and Siemens US won't support the phone.

I got mine to work.

I set up a 2nd account and just started over - and this one works fine.

Make sure you are using an SMTP that will allow you to send from any computer. Don't try us smtp.cox-internet.com or verizon or anything - they have blockers on them or something. If you own a .com with a server - use that one.
