I'll stick with Krussel, but I must say that the Overlay plus rocks

I may try out the case though if the P810 has a P816 version and I need a case!

That "ice" jacket looks GREAT!!!

The main issue I have with it is a lack of any way to hook it to your belt. Isn't that the main purpose of jackets/covers/cases?

The wheels are already turning on how I can attach a krussel connecter so that I can use it with their belt clip!

Being silicone I wouldn't think it would slip & slide into a pocket that well.

I have the Vaja case. Nice looking, good protection, doesn't add much size, does have a clip. Only disadvantages:

1. Can't use with keypad on.
2. Have to take it off to put phone in synch station.

I tiake it this ice jacket avoids both issues and is cheaper. See any downsides to it compared to the Vaja case?

Well I wouldn’t call it cheap @ $39.99 + shipping.

We’re only looking at computer generated pix so far so I can’t comment for sure.

1) Like I mentioned above there isn’t a built in way to use it with any kind of belt clip. (I think I’ve got my solution to this already )

2) It does appear that the bottom portion of the Jacket is cut out to accommodate the use of the flip. I personally do not use the flip and it would therefore be exposed (uncovered).

3) The material can have a nice rubbery feel but can also be sticky… won’t slide very well into the pocket.

4) It might bounce if you drop it LoL

I want one… how about you?

Hi again 3vw. I didn't say cheap. I said cheaper. Nothing is cheap about the P800. It's getting to be as expensive as a mistress. (Then again a mistress makes a lousy PDA/phone combo).

I don't use a belt clip. No matter how good it is, I am afraid of a drop. My pocket works fine, and likely is large enough even for a case that does not slip well.

I go back and forth on the flip. However, having to take the phone out of the Vaja case to put it in the synch station is a bit of a pain. It would be nice not to have to do that.

Since I already have a case, I think I will wait a bit and see what others report. I do like the P800. If only it had a 65K color screen (and could double as a mistress).

Hey, For those of you who are complaining about having to take your P800 out of the Vaja case in order to sync... you might want to try this http://p800er.com/product.asp?id=47

Just a heads up. This cable looks like my DCU-10 cable. That cable will not work with my Vaja case on. While the interface area is exposed by the Vaja case, its depth is enough so the connectors on the cable cannot go in far enough to connect with the phone. Not sure if that would be an issue with the new cable, but might be worth checking into.

A nice leather case can make a product look more attractive.. to some people. But, adding an opaque piece of plastic kind of takes away from the overall aesthetic features of the P800. Very shortly, the P800 will have housing kits available in at least two colors, Blue and Grey. I think GSMPhoneSource currently sells the Blue housing kit just in case you damage your current one.

I guess I'm trying to say that the housing on your phone is replaceable, too.

3VW,

having seen all the great things you have come up with I don't doubt that you already have a solution for the belt clip.

Many thanks for the compliment Jalal. I can't wait to get this new accessory. I just hope I won't be disappointed in the final product

BTW Sung that silicone jacket is not opaque (it’s translucent blue) nor is it plastic! It would be better described as a synthetic rubber… very tactile.

FWIW If you go to a hobby store and look at the fuel lines that are used in model airplanes you can get an idea of what this stuff looks like.
