i want to know how does everyone carry there sl55, i'm wanting to buy one but i don't see no kind of carrying case available for it, i never saw the phone in person but how long and wide is it really ? does it have the small size of a flip phone what kind of phone does it compare to in size

The fone is quite small and easy to carry. I just put it in my pocket. There have been pictures of the SL55 next to other fones posted in this forum that may help you get an idea of it's actual size. Do a search and you should be able to find the threads.

But how do you find the dust in your pocket affects the phone?
My jeans usually have lots of lint accumulating in the pocket so I put mine in a soft envelope type felt case that came with a business card holder I had. Would lint and dust get into the phone?

Wouldn't the clip scuff up the SL55? My friend's 8890 car-kit scuffed up his phone...

I have found a belt sandwich-type case like that one linked above for $10 at Fry's Electronics, except this one cam in a snakeskin pattern. I think it was made for a Motorola v60, but it fits the sl55 perfectly, and my t68i also fits with only a half inch poking out the top.
