Sanyo 8100... pictures!?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Okay-- I just took a few pictures at a party and I saved them right? I than went into the second option.. (forgot what the name was) and I saved all of them as wallets. Than I deleted all the pictures in option 2 and now all the pics are in my wallet. Now how do I upload them to my PCS VISION? I think I messed up somewhere... and these pictures are really important too!
Anyway to get them so I can print them or get them to the sprint server?

By the way, I clicked on OPTIONS and there were only 4 options-- I didn't see the UPLOAD but I saw UPLOAD on the 2nd part.. You know where you click on the small camera icon and than u press 2... sorry if this is confusing! I am just confused!

You can't upload pictures from your wallet.

I don't see where you can upload pictures from you wallet. They are actually more compressed than the origial pictures.

When I click the camera button, then 2, then options..I have Camera, Save to Wallet, Upload, Erase, Color Tona, Edit Caption, Picture Info, and Thubmnail.

You should have been able to go to the pictures you took and click upload them to the sprint picture space.

But you see, click on the camera-- go to OPTION 3. You don't see it. I deleted all the pictures on OPTION 2 because I thought it would also work on OPTION 3. OPTION3= WALLET.

Yeah, I see the same thing. I don't think you can upload from your wallet.

Man... that sux.. Do you think I can go to Sprint and have them try to get it on their computer?

Posted by: kahman

I doubt it since you never uploaded it anywhere, it was just stored on your phone.

maybe they can pull it out from my phone using a data cable..

Ehhh...to the best of my knowledge the only way to get pictures off of the 5300/8100 phones is to upload them yourself...

I don't know of any software that can download the pics from your phone.

I believe SnapMedia can download pics off of the 8100.

Yeah, I didn't think of that but I've never used snapmedia so I wouldn't know for sure.

Once a picture has been placed in the Picture Wallet, the pic is reduced in size to fit the screen dimensions on the phone, and the file size is greatly reduced to allow for easy storage.

This is why you cant upload from a picture wallet. Hope I was of some help.

Is it me or does SnapMedia suck? I don't understand what its good for.
