Seeking opinions on SL55

This phone looks great. I especially like how small it is. However, I have two questions:
1) How thick/fat is the phone? Roughly comparable to Samsung flip phones?
2) How are current owners of the SL55 finding its RF performance? This is my biggest concern at the moment.
Also, where are people buying this phone. Since it's so new, I know you'll pay a premium to get it, but what are some reliable vendors?
Thanks

I compare its appearance to a flat egg...that's what it looks like...it's not as thin as my 8890 or v70 and it's a little wider...but, other than that, it's shorter and a heckuvalot neater! I love it!
However, its RF seems a little off...now that could be the network doing upgrades at the same time I swapped my phone but it seemed that the 7210 and v70 both get better reception than the SL55...
As far as reliable vendors, I got mine from a guy off eBay...I bought my wifey's 7210 from him, too, and his shipping is very quick and prompt. He also gives you shipping details and tracking numbers so you can track it on your own. I give him two thumbs up.

it's a really nice phone, the aesthetics are what make stand out its pretty small and light - I think the sound quality is about the same as a samsung, I have a S105, and I think the speaker quality is the same, the ringer on the samsung is a little louder, but the SL55's ringer is decent, not like the quiet Pana GD87 ringer - also I think that the ringer speaker is better on the SL55 b/c I can hear more detail in the midi ringers than I could on the samsung - for example, I was using the loony tunes theme as my ringer on the S105 and the same on the SL55, on the S105, it was a little louder, but it sounded like all the different sub parts in the ringer just ran together and the main part you heard was the lead tone with a bunch of muffled undertones - on the SL55 you can definitely hear each distinct part of the midi, like the piano in the background is just as distinguishable as the horns - I've found the RF on the SL55 to be really good, I had a Pana GD87, which could never catch more than 2-3 bars throughout my apt - but the SL55 catches about 5, which is about the same as my S105 - overall, I love the phone, my only gripes are the battery life and the slow animations - but you know it's strange how the animations are slow when you use them as a wallpaper or something b/c if you use the same gif for your start up or shut down animation, it runs normally at start up/shutdown...maybe they will fix this in a fw upgrade - i bought mine from mobilefly.com, not a bad buy for $409 but i think theres a freeze on production of this model, so finding them might be a little tough, unless you just go to ebay

There have been alot of various posts on the SL55 that have been posted in here. There are some that say RF is okay and some that think it's great--- I found the RF to be excellent. Do a search and check out what peoples opinions are on it's RF and overall perfomance & hopefully that will help you out. There are alot of online stores that sell the SL55 right now. You can always check out GSM Phone Source, Cell Point, Expansys, UStronics, Ebay etc... how much are you looking to spend on the fone?

so how often do we have to charge assuming normal usage and leaving the phone on at night?
Also, what do u think of the color display quality?\
Thank you

You might want to define "normal usage" since I normally use my phone 40mins or more in the day, whereas others get 20mins of cell usage in a day. I was thinking about this phone, as I broke my S300 but I might go for another S300 or wait for the new Motorolas instead.
