I just recently discovered this issue with my headset after not using it for a week or so... the handset no longer auto transfers the sound to my hb60 anymore? why? I have to press the button on my headset to get the sound to transfer... any ideas? I've tried removing it from my P800 and repairing it with no change result.

thanks!

You should read BengalBoy's Bible for Bluetooth Headsets for the proper settings and menus. Look above

Yes, it is a pretty guide however, pairing a headset is not my problem and I don't use voice dialing at the moment.

I've been using it for a month with no problems. Settings have not changed, the sound transfers immediately when I press the button on my HB60, however, I don't hear incoming calls or when I make a call and connnect, the sound does not auto transfer to the headset anymore. I have to press the button on the HB60.... Anybody experience this problem?

Have you tried resetting the HBH-60? If you don't have the manual let me know and I'll post the procedure.

Other than that, can only think of the obvious... installed any new apps that might behave roguishly?

ya, I went through an apps installation frenzy... including some involving BT stuff... I repaired the headset with the P800 with no success gotta uninstall stuff I guess... but it's such a weird/annoying problem.

If you read the Bengalboy's Bible for setting up your headset, then you know you must set the headset as priority through the phone preferences menu. If you in fact have selected "headset" as the handsfree preference, then you have a headset/phone issue and repairing would be the best procedure for re-booting everything. If it still does not work correctly, a firmware update or new headset would be the next alternative.

and if you read my posts then you will know that things had been working and I must've in fact selected 'headset' as the handsfree preference.

But I appreciate your input.

I think something happened to my headset cause I can still sync with my PC, BT style, but it seems odd the whole headset is not dead rather than just the auto transfer.

Can't do much about it since I bought the stuff over seas... will sony still warranty it?
