sl55 - picture quality under mms emailed to phone

just set up t-mobile mms info and sent pictures to phone via mms so I could assign picture as caller ID to person in address book. The picture quality is poor. What resolution would be optimal? Thanks.

My picture was from a kodak set at 800x600. I used it and it seemed unclear.
