Has anyone else had any problems with Fone Data Suite running on Win XP? Every time I install the USB data cable drivers, my computer shuts off and then restarts and says it has recovered from a serious crash, due to a bad driver or hardware I've installed. I've tried it on 3 XP machines and I get the same error on each computer, I really want to use this usb cable, but I guess I need XP drivers for it, does anyone know where I can get some? I've checked the website, but no luck there. Please if anyone has got this to work on XP walk me through how to do it. Thanks

thats so strange... I just reinstalled it and followed the directions exactly like they say and it all installed fine, and then I started transfering a ringtone to my phone and my compyter shut off again. So I updated the driver and installed the other driver on the cd and that was about 3 minutes ago, so I guess I'll find out soon enough if it is going to work. Wish me luck....... one other question, I tried to get a picture off my phone and it wouldnt let me do it, it was a .jpg picture. Could it be because it is barred from forwarding?

Well, it restarted again right in the middle of reading my emails.... I guess I have a $40 cable tie now.... i did get one song transfered to my phone and shut down the fone data suite, then started my IE Explorer and BAMMMM... Nothing but black on my screen.

I use the USB cable with Windows XP and it works, but the software is very buggy. The system crashes very often. I use it to backup my phonebook and that's it. I have tried to sync with Outlook and it doesn't work (crashes all the time). Anyway, good luck. Oh, by the way, you can use your USB cable with Edit Tool Software by Panasonic, which is much less buggy.

I finally gave up on getting it to work and restored my system back to before I installed the USB drivers, and just for kicks and grins I plugged in the USB cable (into the same usb port) and started my Fone Data Suite program and it worked?!?!?!?!? I thought it was a flooke, so I tried it with the Panasonic PC edit software and it works fine there as well, it didnt shut down my PC at all yesterday and I used it for about 2 hours with the phone programs and I left it running all night and it didnt reboot..... Thank god for Gremlins!!!! thanks for the information everyone
