i just got my gd 55 from ebay and the only manual is written in chinese, can some one help me get a hold of a english version or just tell me how can i adjust the volume of my earpiece on the phone and how to operate the speaker phone

For speakerphone , while you're in a call .. press the menu button , then scroll down to h'free.

you can downdonload the manual from http://www.panasonicmobile.com/frame/e_eng.html
just scroll to gd55 and download the manual in pdf.. hope it helps
