I would like to cut a couple of midis that I have down so that I can use them as ringers. I have anvil studio, but I have no clue how to cut them down. In other words, the midi is 3:18 and I want it to be 0:38. I also have another one that I want to go from 0:48 to 1:52. Anyone that knows how to do this please help! Thanks in advance, Jowe

I didn't realize that's all you needed. I can help:

You play the song until the point you want it to cut off at, press stop, then you go to "File", "Truncate Song", and then "Delete from current position to end".

If you want to cut out a part of the song in the begining you play it untill you want it to start, press stop, then go to "File", "Truncate Song", "Delete from start to current position".

how do u load a mp3 to anvil to convert it to a mid

Posted by: jpm777

It can't do that. It's for .WAV and midi's only. go to google and search for a free mp3 to midi converter or just search for the name of your song in a midi already. that way you don't have to convert it because someone already did the work for you.

Yes there is such software. however I have not heard of anyone getting good results from MP3 to Midi. good results from MP3 to Wav. go to google and search for the converter you want or look in the software thread.
