Hi, i was just reading the latest Entertainment Weekly and it had a story on wireless gaming. They say that you can call a number and download a game to your phone. What phones do you need? What carriers provide this service? Has anyone been able to use this service?

Not nokia @ the moment for sure, i think its some JAVA enabled phone, had tried it before, my friend who is using verizon wireless, not on the GSM for sure, unless you're in asia and you're using the Siemens SL45i, which is java enabled.

Well i know for sure Nokia dont use Java..... But i know one company uses java in the U.S which is nextal..... Their phones have java games which you can download off the net such as Sonic/Crabs etc. I know think because my boy has nextal and i was playing around with it and saw like 20 games on his phone and asked him how you do this..... He told me he got it off the net... Sooo i Hope this INFO helps your alot....

Currently Siemens 6688i or SL45 use Java. I am not sure if there are others.

The upcoming Motorola V66i and V60i and other new models will have Java too.

...And the "god of phones" doesn't even have voice dialing... hahaha... if it had voice dialing, BlueTooth, a camera accessory and and active slide, then it would be the god of phones.
