just purchased a data cable for my panasonic gd 88 and what i mainly want to do is to upload pictures from my phone to the computer. Would anyone know where i can get the software ?

You can simply email the pictures to your computer - No need to bother with the data cable for downloading.

The advantage of the data cable is that it lets you use the phone as a modem and you can access the internet on your PC when you don't have a landline connection.

ur right but u pay for every e-mail that u do. With the cabe u can do it for free as many time as u want.

If you have to pay per email try Mobile Action's product... Comes with cable and software. I haven't used it myself, but I work with people that use it every day. Heard it was king of a pain to setup the software, but once it was setup, they were golden.
