Every so often my S56 will ring but the headset (an SE HBH-60) won't ring. I look at the phone and it says "internal bluetooth error." It's very annoying, will this be fixed in some sort of firmware upgrade?

I am curious about this as I get this error occasionally too. Started to happen soon after I began using a Parrot DriveBlue - never got it when I used just my Jabra headset. But I don't get the error message when I'm in my car or at home - I get the error when I'm in my office, where I don't have any BT devices. The guy at the next desk over has a Plantronics headset, but its not paired to my phone or anything, so I don't know why I'm getting this error message.
Has anyone figured out why this is happening and how to stop it?
TIA.

I also have a Parrot (but it's the CK3000) I believe. I did find a posting referring to changing the energy settings at http://forums.attwireless.com/attws...message.id=3689 and I haven't got the error since (although it's only been a couple of days). Try that.
From the posting:
"When you are in the BT section of the Setup/Connectivity screen, hit the #428 buttons (right where you see Deactivate BT) This will allow you to turn off the Energy Savings option. It should be on and you want to turn it off. I have no idea what this does for battery life but my errors are gone and it has not turned off for me yet."

I tried doing the #428 trick and it did nothing. The very next day I got the error message and I wasn't even anywhere where there was a BT device!
Kinda ticks me off.

I just paired my S56 with my new Acura TL HandsFreeLink and I got this error message -- AND -- it stuck the HFL in IN USE Mode so I had to take it to the dealer.
Make sure Bluetooth is activiated then go back in and hit #428 -- you'll get the option to turn it off then.
Also, to make it stick, power cycle the phone.
Hope it helps!!

Well, I can tell you that it helped suck my battery dry quicker! Had BT on but wasn't using a BT device. Call was less than 3 hours in a strong signal area and end up having to put it on the charger. Haven't determined whether it fixed the problem yet with the BT error, but it definately affected my battery life!
