I'm planning on getting a Powerbook G4 and was wondering if I would run into sync problems (IDRA or cable) when running s40 PC programs via Virtual PC. Anyone have this set up?

It depends on which version of virtual pc you are using. I believe that my virtual pc 4.0.2 with windows 98 doesn't have ir support yet. I think version 5 does have the ir support.

Well it works perfectly with Mac OS X, i havent tried it with Virtual pc.

ALthough you need the S40 driver for mac os x...

which i attached, just added to your modem scripts folder.

Now i have a question can i connect to the net on Cingular with out paying for the data connect???

cause i'd hate to pay them .15 cents a minute.....

holanino,

do you know any way to sync a S40 with a powerbook G4 under OS X? The provided software only works on a pc. Any third party software/freeware out there?

I already downloaded your S40 driver so that I can get a mobile connection.

Thanks in advance...
