Difference between Nokia 33xx and 82xx battery?

Is there a (physical) difference betweena a Nokia 33xx battery and a Nokia 82xx battery? A friend of mine bought a li-ion blue LED flashing battery for me this past weekend, but it doesn't seem to work in my Nokia 3360 (doesn't even charge properly); however, it seems to work perfectly in my Nokia 3390. Weird!

Could it be that my friend bought the wrong battery (Nokia 82xx instead of Nokia 33xx)? All it says on the battery is: "Type 063436/40/06448 3.6V"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Isn't that a bit impossible because the batteries for the 82XX series are smaller than the ones that come with the 33XX series. I've tried switching batteries between my 3390 and 8290 and they are not size compatible. Anybody else has more deeper insight on this subject?

If that is the case, than I am relieved that it is the correct Nokia 3300 series battery. Now I have to figure out why it doesn't work with my 3360, yet work with my 3390. Thanks for the info!
